about

Written about a hypothetical person that may or may not exist anywhere... who knows best and changes to what they think is a better life, despite everyone around them telling them that what they're doing is wrong. Even their closest friends cant understand what is wrong with them and slowly they all turn , leaving them alone.

lyrics

Looking at the sun too long will burn your eyes
Bury every truth, and scorn all your compromise
Kill your past with your lies that you can hide behind
If you keep them out of sight, they will be out of mind

Living out your time your new life of pretence
All you knew before still say it makes no sense
Illusions of a life that spins around your head
The grass was greener but ground, the ground is dry and dead

But you can’t see
The error of your ways
Exist without a care
You Live on numbered days
You always know best
But you live for the now
Push away all those who care
You’re alone in the.......

Now you wear a face that we don’t recognise
Happy living in a world of paper your lies
So Press reset and try again with a clean slate
But there’s no room for your love in a heart consumed by hate

But you can’t see
The error of your ways
Exist without a care
Live on numbered days
You always know best
But you live for the now
Push away all those who care
You’re alone in a crowd

But you can’t see
The error of your ways
Exist without a care
Live on numbered days
You always know best
But you live for the now
Push away all those who care
You’re alone in a crowd
